Here are two things that probably shouldn’t be mixed: lifting weights and ripping your pants off.
I love watching videos of people working out because it’s a great way to remind myself that I shouldn’t be working out. To me, there’s nothing less motivational than watching a video like the one below, of a group of people dancing to Britney Spears while curling some dumbbells. Don’t get me wrong: if that’s your thing, more power to you! But the only thing this videos motivates me to do is grab a pint of ice cream and chow down while watching them all sweat.
Nevertheless, the main focus of this video isn’t how awkward and perhaps outdated the workout is. Rather, it’s about the main guy in the center of the video. That’s our workout guru, the guy who’s leading this group of ragtag gym-goers into fit body heaven. And that guy has an idea for how to kick their workout into overdrive… his assistants should tear off his workout pants! Nothing could go wrong, am I right?
It might be a nice thought in theory, but in practice, it’s an epic fail! His two assistants reach over to rip off his pants. The top part comes easily, but they hit a snag towards the bottom near his shoes. Panicked, the assistants just yank a little harder. Not a good idea when someone is holding a thirty pound dumbbell. This sends our guru into a whirlwind whereby he almost topples over landing on his butt! But he saves himself. Phew! Maybe next time just stick to showing everyone how to do bicep curls!
