What is it with these Habanero peppers? They are way too spicy, but we still eat them. We can’t resist. Just like this teenager who decided to challenge himself and eat a very hot and super spicy habanero pepper in just one bite.
If you ever thought of eating a raw habanero pepper, don’t.

The habanero pepper is up to a hundred times hotter than a jalapeno pepper and you should avoid eating it raw. If you decide to use it while cooking, it is even recommended to wear gloves while chopping it. Imagine how spicy it must be! This teenager in the video doesn’t have to imagine that, unfortunately. He decided to challenge himself with nothing less but a big bite of a habanero pepper. That was not a very good idea. Just take a look at his face! He is turning red, just like the pepper he decided to eat.
Eating spicy foods in moderation is very beneficial.

If you love spicy food, we completely understand you. But, try to avoid eating raw habanero peppers, as it is one of the hottest peppers out there. Habanero pepper has 100,000-350,000 SHU (Scoville heat units) which makes it 100 times hotter than the jalapeno pepper! Can you believe that? So, kids do not try this at home! And the same advice applies to adults too.

Spicy food has various benefits for our health. Did you know that eating spicy food speeds up our metabolism? Oh, yes, please! Spices also combat inflammation, kill bacteria and a lot more. Eating spicy food is not bad for us, but, all in moderation.  However, in the off chance that you end up eating food that is too spicy for you, try not to drink too much water! It can actually make the problem worse! Instead try drinking milk and you will be good to go!
